The Impossible Quiz.

So my friend at school recently showed me this Flash Based Quiz.

It's not your everyday quiz. Try it out. It's amazing.

Hint: Question one is "How many holes in a Polo?"

Every letter after "in" is what you look at. So look at the number of circles in "a polo" the answer is 4.

Regarding Kanye West.

I know it's a little late, but Colbert's coverage is undoubtedly the best.

Wow.

So I had kind of a scary night. We got pizza for dinner, but when I took a bite I started to realize that I forgot how to swallow food and water. What would you do after that shocking revelation? I started to panic. It was very scary. But anyway, I'm fine now. Hopefully seeing a doctor tomorrow.

If you like Rock Band....

check out my other blog.

It's about the Rock Band Network, and what I'm doing to help my local high school bands reach a new level of publicity.

I can't sleep.

Anyway, I'm Wolfgang, son of Bore Patch. In reality, Wolfgang is my middle name, but my first name is more generic and boring than everyone elses.

So my dad and I share many interests, one of which being linux. However, we disagree on which build is better, as he's a kubuntu guy, (kubuntu being built off of ubuntu) and I'm a good operating system (gOS) guy. (gOS being based off of..... ubuntu)

So I'll do a little comparison for you guys.

Feature comparison for gOS:

Looks nice: check.

Accessible to the Novice user: More or Less, but gOS is the most accessible yet.

Has basic linux programs such as Terminal, etc: check

Based off of the greatest distro of linux ever (Ubuntu): check

Comes preinstalled with basic browsing needs such as Flash, Firefox, etc: check.

Has an AWESOME osx-style dock with links to gmail, youtube, blogger: check

Comes preinstalled with wine (windows emulator): check

Easy to configure if you have an awesome graphics card: Maybe. Didn't for me, as I have a nvidia gtx 275, which didn't get recognized.

Customizable for the advanced user: Definitely.

Feature comparison for kubuntu:

Looks nice: check

Has basic stuff such as Terminal, etc: check

Based off of the greatest distro of linux ever (Ubuntu): check

Comes preinstalled with basic browsing needs such as Flash, Firefox, etc: nope, you need to install flash, which I hear is a real bitch in 64 bit mode. Installing Firefox is recommended, but if you really want to live with crappy, crashing konqerer, (heh, dad didn't.) then be my guest.

Has an AWESOME osx-style dock with links to gmail, youtube, blogger: a big NO! You can install them, but you can't link gmail, youtube, or blogger to it.

Comes preinstalled with wine (windows emulator): no again, you have to install it yourself.

Easy to configure if you have an awesome graphics card: Again, maybe. Again, it didn't for me.

Customizable for the advanced user: Definitely.

Clearly, gOS is the winner. Sorry dad, but I win.

You can grab gOS here. Go get it!

EDIT: Oh, and by the way, gOS does NOT stand for google operating system. While it practically runs off of google desktop widgets, it was NOT made by google.
